This year, 140 runners will take to the track to support the children and youth of Sport for All, the program committed to promoting access to sports and providing support for sports practice in inclusive settings for differently-abled youth. One of the novelties of this edition is the route, which will start and finish at Piazza Duomo, while the Charity Village will be located between San Babila and Via Durini. Each relay participant will cover a stretch ranging from 7 to 15 km, passing the baton to their teammate at one of the designated exchange points along the route. Among the activities that the Rossoneri foundation will organize, stands out the initiative involving the gamer community, which will further enrich one of the most significant charitable sports events in the city of Milan. Indeed, in conjunction with the sports competition, Fondazione Milan together with Reply Totem will organize a gaming marathon parallel to the traditional marathon: the video games involved will be Rocket League and e-Football. Furthermore, four creators from the Reply Totem team will take to the track and form a team that will participate in the traditional marathon, interacting with the participants along the route and connecting with the live stream of gamers. The main objective is to unite the running and gaming communities to support Fondazione Milan‘s Sport for All program, demonstrating that the union of two different worlds can have a significant impact on promoting integration and accessibility to sports for all.
