Fondazione Milan and Fondazione Nice to Meet You have launched Talenti in Gioco, a multi-year initiative designed to strengthen educational pathways within the school system, promote the positive development of new generations, reduce inequalities, and ensure equal opportunities for all.
The project focuses on implementing both curricular and extracurricular workshops. This initiative brings together the expertise of two Italian foundations engaged globally in the education sector, aiming to create a significant and lasting impact.
The participating schools are located in Milan’s outskirts and host a majority of students from foreign backgrounds. This reality presents additional educational challenges that, if not properly addressed, may lead to disengagement and school dropout. Talenti in Gioco aims to create an increasingly inclusive educational environment, prioritizing student well-being and supporting them throughout their academic journey.
The proposed activities include a wide range of educational and recreational experiences. Students engage in sports, foreign language learning, and innovative extracurricular activities. The goal is to make them active participants in their own learning process, fostering curiosity and engagement. To ensure high-quality experiences, Fondazione Milan and Fondazione Nice to Meet You have selected specialized coaches and qualified professionals who also serve as positive role models, inspiring students to strive for success both in school and in life.
During the current school year, the project involves over 300 students from primary schools ICS Bruno Munari and ICS Calasanzio, as well as the secondary school ICS Sorelle Agazzi. These schools were selected in collaboration with the Milan Municipality’s Department of Education.
