For the 2024-2025 school year, Fondazione Milan continues its collaboration with Fondazione Italia Uganda in Kampala, working with schools such as Bishop Cipriano Kihangire, Fr. Raphael di Bari School, Elgon Primary School, Side View Education Centre, and MK Learning Centre. Once again, primary and secondary school students will take center stage, fueled by their passion for football. For these young people, sports serve as a crucial tool for growth and self-improvement, keeping them away from violence, child labor, and the dangers of street life.
The project aims to strengthen boys’ and girls’ football teams in both primary and secondary schools, giving children the opportunity to develop independence while rapidly acquiring physical, mental, and social skills.
Investing in these youths means fostering their empowerment from an early age, using football as an educational tool. Through the game, they learn essential values such as self-confidence, resilience, competitive spirit, and equality.
The project also includes the purchase of essential sports equipment to better support young athletes in their training and activities.
The initiative directly impacts over 350 primary school children.
Beyond the direct participants, the project will generate positive effects for additional beneficiaries, including schools, families, and the broader community, creating a long-term virtuous cycle.
