Milan, Sept. 6, 2024Milan Glorie is back on the field. The appointment is set for Saturday, September 21 in Georgia at 7 p.m. local time (5 p.m. Italian time) where, at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Tbilisi, the Rossoneri representative will take on the Georgia Legends. It will be a special celebration, included in the context of the club’s 125th Anniversary celebrations, in which many champions who have written important pages of Milan’s history will take part, former teammates who have shared locker rooms, victories and unforgettable successes: from Kakà to Rivaldo, from Seedorf to Cafu, passing through Kakhaber Kaladze, the host in this special challenge.

A Georgian born in Samtredia, mayor of Tbilisi since 2017, a true Milanist and winner – from 2001 to 2010 – of 2 Champions League, 2 European Super Cups, 1 Club World Cup, 1 Scudetto, 1 Coppa Italia and an Italian Super Cup, Kaladze will take the field with both teams. On his emotions ahead of this appointment, he said, “I am delighted with this opportunity, being able to re-embrace people with whom I spent wonderful years. Milan has really given me a lot, as a man and as a footballer. I am proud to have worn the Rossoneri jersey, I always cheer: forza Milan always!”

In addition to bringing together so many legends from the past, the match will also represent a significant testimony to the Rossoneri family’s continued commitment to the most relevant social issues. In fact, part of the proceeds from the match and from the auctions for the jerseys worn by the Rossoneri and Georgian champions during the match will be donated by Milan Foundation to support its international program Sport for Change, through which sport becomes a tool for social inclusion, growth and positive change for the many young people living in vulnerable social contexts.

In the 2023/24 season alone, the Sport for Change program has impacted the lives of more than 3,000 beneficiaries in Italy and around the world through 15 projects spread across as many as five different continents, reaching countries such as Brazil and the United States, India and Kenya, as well as Uganda, Pakistan and Syria.

The match will be broadcast live on AC Milan Official App and Milan TV from 5 p.m. Italian time on Saturday, Sept. 21.
