For many young people, sport is where they learn the lessons that will stay with them for life. But for that to happen, it takes educators who can look beyond the final score. Orri is one of them.

After a lifetime spent in sport, Orri found in Success Academy the perfect place to combine two passions that have always guided his journey: teaching and athletics. Since then, he has worked with young people driven by a clear belief: people come first, students second, and athletes third.

Every training session is an opportunity to teach something that goes beyond the game itself. Respect, responsibility, perseverance, and self-confidence. Values that accompany young people far beyond their time on the field and become invaluable tools for facing life’s challenges.

Thanks to his experience as a coach, Orri knows that the most important measure of success is not found in victories, but in the growth of the young people he supports every day. In the student who finds the courage to step outside their comfort zone, in the one who learns how to work with others, or in the young person who discovers abilities they never knew they had.

This is the same vision that drives Sport for Change, Fondazione Milan’s project that uses sport as a tool for education and inclusion. It is an approach that Orri lives every day through his work, turning every activity into an opportunity for growth and development.
