Francesco, a Standout Season Between Saves and New Milestones – Sport for All

Francesco is a 17-year-old goalkeeper who joined Briantea84’s activities in the 2022–23 season. At the beginning of his journey, Francesco enthusiastically took part in all the multisport activities, without focusing on one specific discipline. But deep down, he held onto a passion stronger than all the others: football. 

This year, thanks to Sport for All, he found the courage to truly follow it. He began training outside the facility, joining official training sessions in Cimnago, a small town in the Brianza area. He put on his gloves, stepped onto the pitch, and faced his fears. He didn’t just discover his true passion, he found a team that welcomed him, supported him, and helped him grow. 

Then came June. A month he’ll never forget. 
Francesco travelled to Rome to take part in a national tournament. He made saves, gave his all, and was awarded Best Goalkeeper. Two weeks later, during the end-of-season tournament, he debuted with the First Team competing in the CSI league. Another powerful opportunity to challenge himself and prove his worth. 

But the real change wasn’t technical, it happened within him. Today, Francesco is more independent, more confident, and happier. He has found a space where he can be himself, and he’s learned that with the right support, dreams aren’t just chased, they come true. Francesco is learning so much, both on and off the field, and he can’t wait for September to get back to training.
