Andrea is 10 years old and has a dream: to play soccer in a real team. Having just moved to the neighborhood, he hasn’t made any friends yet and spends his afternoons leaning over the balcony, watching a group of kids chasing a ball in the courtyard below. One day, he gathers the courage to go down and ask if he can play with them. That’s when he discovers they are part of a nearby sports club. Thanks to their invitation, he joins a trial training session. From that moment on, Sporting Murialdo becomes his second home.
Not only does Andrea integrate perfectly into the team, but he also starts attending the oratory and the study space, growing both as an athlete and as a person. On the field, he is a true force of nature, and off the field, he quickly becomes a role model for his teammates.
Thanks to the support of Fondazione Milan, Andrea was able to fulfill his dream, receiving everything he needed to start his sporting journey. Today, nearly two years later, he has been named captain of the Under-11 team and leads his squad onto the field every Saturday. But he hasn’t forgotten those afternoons spent on the balcony—now, he’s the one inviting new friends to training, giving other children the chance to feel part of something special.
